Ms. Johnson is Vice President and Senior Audit Strategist within the Internal Audit Department at KeyBank National Association. She has over ten years of experience working as a Bank Secrecy Act /Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Bank Examiner for the Federal Reserve, and an Investigator for Ohio Savings Bank and KeyBank. Monique specializes in BSA/AML, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and internal audit, with a focus on risk assessments, governance, enterprise risk management, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, AML policies, procedures and internal controls, including those related to transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting. By servicing different financial institutions, Monique has accumulated a broad range of industry knowledge and expertise in BSA/AML and OFAC. Monique is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Masters in Criminology and a MBA. She has also achieved the Advanced AML Audit Designation (CAMS-Audit), and the Certified AML Specialists (CAMS) certifications.
