Stuart Altman

Senior Vice President and Global Chief Compliance Officer, Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Stuart Altman is currently Senior Vice President and Global Chief Compliance Officer for Las Vegas Sands Corp., the world’s largest developer and operator of integrated resorts, where he is responsible for managing a global team of over 75 professionals addressing a variety of risks, including AML, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, and conflicts of interest. Prior to his current role, Stuart served as the first Director of Corporate Legal Investigations at Intel Corp., where he led a team responsible for investigations related to anti-corruption, antitrust, fraud, conflicts of interest and financial issues. Stuart was previously a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells for over a decade, where he was part of the Investigations, White Collar, and Fraud group, working on FCPA, Securities and Financial Fraud, and Government Contracting investigations. In addition to his work at two other international firms, Stuart served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, assigned to general crimes, narcotics and public corruption units, and as a law clerk in the Eastern District.
