Prior to EY, I was the Chief Data Scientist of the Legal & Compliance Division of Morgan Stanley and Head of GFCC Model Risk Management at JP Morgan. I have international leadership experience in more than 20 countries and have conducted analysis on the finances of illicit networks, in conjunction with governments and financial institutions, in Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. Having developed and led Model Risk Management for Fortune 500 firms, I have end-to-end model risk management domain expertise, including effective model development, implementation, use, and validation. Serving Case Western Reserve University, I was formerly an Adjunct Professor of Law, Senior Practitioner of Financial Integrity Law, and Member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Financial Integrity Institute.
Formerly, I was a board member of the NY ACAMS Chapter, the largest chapter of the international AML and financial crime prevention community. I was also previously on the board of advisors for Blackguard Inc., a bio facial recognition software firm. I am an active alumnus of Texas A&M University through the Letterman’s Association.
I received my Ph.D. in Decision Sciences, specializing in Quantitative Finance and hold an MBA from the University of Colorado. Receiving my BBA in Information and Operations Management from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. I also have a Masters degree in Theology.
