Jon Pruzan is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Morgan Stanley since May 2015, and Head of Corporate Strategy since December 2016. Pruzan also serves as a member of the Firm's Operating and Management Committees and as a member of the Morgan Stanley/MUFG Global Steering Committee.
Prior to becoming CFO, Pruzan has spent his entire career in Investment Banking focused on Financial Institutions, advising clients and governments globally on a broad range of issues including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and capital raising.
After joining the Firm in 1994, Pruzan served in a variety of roles in the Financial Institutions Group and was named Co-Head of North America FIG M&A from 2008-2009 and was Head of the U.S. Bank Group from 2006-2008. Prior to joining the Firm, Pruzan was in the Financial Institutions Group at Paine Webber from 1990-1994.
Pruzan is Vice Chairman of the Board of Summer Search new York, a board member of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and a member of the Economic Club of New York. Pruzan received an undergraduate degree from Tufts University.
