Long-Long Wu, Chief Operating Officer (COO), leads the Transformation and Integration team within Global Financial Crimes Compliance. Ms. Wu is responsible for the development and execution of business strategy, oversight of GFCC’s key risk process, the management of GFCC’s issue and gap management process, and further integration of GFCC teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ms. Wu joined Bank of America in 2003 as a Business Analyst in Technology where she was responsible for projects focused on process redesign and improvements. She moved to Global Wealth and Investment Management Compliance in 2005 to manage a program of regulatory projects and, subsequently held various roles in Compliance and Operational Risk. In 2008, Ms. Wu joined the Merrill Lynch Transition team to lead the company’s implementation of its Privacy Program. As the financial crisis began to intensify, she was asked to lead efforts to redefine processes related to counterparty exposure and country risk. In 2010, Ms. Wu moved to Hong Kong to become part of the Asia Pacific Regional COO’s office. She later moved to International Marketing & Corporate Affairs before returning to the United States to join GFCC in 2012. Before joining Bank of America, Ms. Wu was a consultant with Accenture.
Ms. Wu is a graduate of Brown University where she majored in International Relations.
