Mr. Guerra is a risk Advisory professional with over 15 years of combined regulator, financial and professional services experience. He has extensive experience in the fields of Corporate: governance, risk oversight, and compliance. Prior to joining EY, Ed was a Vice President of Corporate Compliance for a (>$100B) in assets financial institution in Northern California. Additionally, Ed served as a Director of Corporate Compliance at Visa, Inc. In both capacities, Ed was responsible for conducting reviews of international and domestic compliance processes and functional activities and advising regarding the development, implementation, and sustainability of Corporate Compliance programs.

While at EY, Ed is responsible for practice development and thought leadership surrounding the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and serves as regulatory compliance leader and subject matter advisor for FinTech and Banking Capital Markets in the West. Most recently he’s published a white paper on Fintech Sustainable Compliance and has spoken at various events sponsored by EY, ACAMs, and Thomson Reuters regarding corporate compliance industry trends.Ed is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and a former Federal Reserve examiner.
