Head of Mission in Syria, Premiere Urgence Internationale

Emmanuel Tronc spent the last six years in Iraq and Syria as Head of Mission for Première Urgence Internationale, with a focus on “Coercive measures impact on the delivery of humanitarian aid” for Damascus based INGOs. Mr. Tronc is a Chemistry engineer with 4 years’ experience in the private sector in the identification of weaknesses in public tendering processes. He shifted fifteen years ago to the Humanitarian Aid & Development fields in the Middle East and Latin America, with special emphasis on institutional rescue plans in agreement with judicial administrators and liquidators under the mandate of anti-corruption judges; as well as prevention of aid diversion, investigation of local (public / private) and international partners. His experience is marked by recurrent personal assaults and life threats in relation with his anti-fraud and anti-corruption activities.
