Description

• Reviewing recent sanctions shifts involving Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Russia to ensure that sanctions risk management oversight is consistent with current risk tolerance statements and other established risk mitigation policies.
• Developing quantitative risk assessments based on factors such as OFAC program changes, geography, entity profile and transaction patterns to better gauge institutional sanctions risks
• Testing sanctions monitoring systems to identify and rectify systemic issues such as inadequate filtering and misaligned threshold settings.
